Nutritional Support

for Lebanon

Loops Foundation is there when no one else can be!

In 2018, Lebanon was undergoing an economic implosion. Families were unable to put food on the table because of inflation rates, increase in job loss, and covid related crisis issues. Loops Foundation and the entire Seikaly family came together to find a solution to support their Lebanese community. The first nutritional support mission they conducted was creating Loops boxes that contained vital supplies and food from grocery stores. They oversaw the production and creation of these boxes that could sustain a family of 4 for about 4 months.

Loops Foundation also worked with locals in Northern Lebanon in the village of Chekka to prepare hot meals to deliver directly to peoples homes for free. As poverty continues to impact Lebanon, the Loops Foundation decided to find a new way to create a more sustainable process for providing nutritional support long term.

Loops Foundation’s agriculture development efforts continue to provide food impoverished communities in Lebanon fresh produce for free. Loops Farm now hires local farmers to upkeep and distribute the produce instead of buying canned items from grocery stores. The pictures you see here are all from Loops prosperous crops! Zucchini was one of Chris’s favorite and the farm has been growing an abundance of Zucchini every year!
